Become a member as an Osa local company:
In recent months, the Foundation has become aware of the need to increase its role with the private sector in order to meet current, and future needs of the Osa Peninsula, as the conservation concept turns into a more sustainable model, with a more comprehensive framework for stopping the loss of natural resources, and with the objective of conserving the environment, and using its natural resources sustainably.
The tourism industry is an important partner for conservation, and w e are seeking support from you to enable us to develop a program among the lodges operating in Osa, in order to introduced standards of sustainability that will enable your company to apply at the ICT for the Certification of Sustainable Tourism Program, and to demonstrate your operations' soundness and effectiveness to conservation.
When you become a member of the Corcovado Foundation, you will have access to valuable services, and exposure that will give value added to your business, supporting at the same time the conservation efforts of the Foundation.
We ask for your partnership because of your demonstrated interest in conservation through out the years.

• You will receive a three hours induction in Spanish or English language about environmentally sound operations and a motivation on how, and why to participate on the Certification of Sustainable Tourism Program (CST). www.turismo-sostenible.co.cr
• A framed Member Certificate for your front desk that acknowledges your lodge as an eco responsible operation, and that is also in the process of establishing improvements in order to diminish the impact of their operation on the environment, and that actively supports the Corcovado Foundation.

CORCOVADO FOUNDATION'S MEMBER CERTIFICATION

• As a Platinum member you will have access to the technical assistance and advisory services of Corcovado Foundation experts, for up to two hours a month, on subjects related to conservation or sustainable tourism issues.
• Framed Member Certification for your front desk and each of your guest room that acknowledges your establishment as an eco responsible lodge, and that is also in the process of establishing improvements in order to diminish the impact of their operation on the environment and that actively supports the Corcovado Foundation.
• Appearance of your company information, logo and a link to your website in the Corcovado Foundation's web site.
