Placements are available: from 15th January – 15th December
Location: the Project takes place in different communities of Drake Bay- Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. Some of them are: Agujitas, El Progreso, Los Ángeles, Los Planes y Caletas.
Duties: Support the environmental education program in primary schools, high schools and different community groups, especially in the issues of solid waste management and conservation of natural resources, help maintain trails, bridges and other community structures, educate tourists in ecologically friendly practices, beach clean ups, tree planting, among others.
Accommodation: Costa Rican families. (Private bedroom, shared bathroom and kitchen). They provide three meals per day.

Transportation: it has to be covered by the volunteer.
Languages: Basic Spanish is required
Requirements: We are looking for volunteers aged 18 or over, in good physical condition, with a basic knowledge of Spanish or English. You need to be friendly, communicative and able to work in extreme weather conditions for 4-6 hours per day. You must have your own travel medical insurance policy for the duration of your stay at the program.
