Volunteer El Tigre Corcovado

The Dos Brazos Conservationist Association of Río Tigre (ACODOBRARTI), is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2004, with the purpose of changing the local ideology about hunting, illegal logging and mining, to guide the community towards Sustainable Tourism.

With the efforts of all the members of the association, they fulfilled their main objective: to empower and accompany the community, offering courses in guidance, cooking, entrepreneurship, among others.

Throughout its history, the Association managed to manage the construction of the Eco Brazos Cultural Hall, a suspension bridge to facilitate access to the school, the opening of a new path to the Corcovado National Park, 45 housing bonds and 25 certified guides with the license of the ICT.

They continue working, strengthening themselves and achieving all their conservation objectives.
